We are so excited for our first fall event of the season. This is our second year for fall events and they were a huge hit before. We have a little bit of everything. We have vendors indoors and out. We have Smokin Glory BBQ, Rathdrum Lions Club with their delicious burgers and coffee drinks (I get coffee and lunch there every time), produce, baked goods, soaps, jewelry, shirts, mugs, cheesecakes, pies and so much more.
We are happy to get together and do this.
You will see jars on tables that say "Backpack Program" on them. We accept donations for the Lions Club program. This is a locally funded program. They fill backpacks weekly with non perishable foods to feed kids every weekend during the school year. It takes $185 to feed a kid this way for the school year. Not every child has a way to heat food etc so they provide foods that are shelf stable and can be eaten without the use of a stove etc.
Some of our vendors donate to it regularly. We have an incredible group of vendors. Come see us, hang out, shop and enjoy. See you Saturday.
