Hello everyone. July 4th was amazing, and we absolutely appreciate all your support and love!
Are you ready for the biggest event of the summer? Kids Day 2026 is almost here on July 11th from 9 am to 2 pm, and it is going to be a blast! We currently have at least 90 booths, featuring our regular favorites plus an incredible lineup of talented kid vendors.
This year's theme is "Find the Squatch" (a huge thanks to Squatch Burger Company for the idea!). Keep an eye out for sasquatch-themed items like plaques, tattooes and bookmarks throughout the market to join in the game.
There is so much to see and do:
- Entertainment: Enjoy live music from a kids' band and a special reading from Deputy Goodman.(every hour)
- Activities: Get creative with face painting, balloon animals, and hands-on kids' activities.
- Community Fun: Visit the Fire Department’s education trailer, grab free books from the library, or visit the bee booth to learn about bees and honey.
- Cool Down: We’ll have sprinklers set up on the grassy area by the RV park to keep everyone refreshed.
- Tasty Treats: Check out multiple food vendors offering kid-friendly menus, coffee, dirty sodas, and hand pies..Fire and Ice is offering delicious grilled hotdogs, Squatch Burger Co has added a kids meal deal with sliders and fries.
We are also proud to support the Rathdrum Lions Foundation backpack program, which provides essential food for school kids. The Lions Club hosting a raffle with great prizes.
The fun takes place at the Rathdrum Lions Club (16114 N Meyer Rd). We can’t wait to see you there for a day dedicated to our community and the next generation of entrepreneurs!
